Came to sit and hear music. That was great, but man, the food was terrific. I’d definitely come back. Our waiter couldn’t have been nicer. Great drinks. And do not miss the bourbon pecan pie. Wow

Great tasting, bbq. The ribs and brisket were so juicy and tender. The bake beans were spot on with a little sweetness. The potato salad was delicious.

Charging $9 for a large french fry and serving the portion that you do should be illegal. Food here is pretty good but come on...you can't be serious with those tiny french fry portions. That was the most expensive order of fries I've ever purchased so I expected a generous portion. I was shocked to see the small amount I received. Not in favor of supporting a business who trys to rip off customers for profit margins. Place is busy enough, they could survive serving appropriately portioned side orders for the prices that are charged.

I cannot rave enough about the American BBQ in Rowley. It’s a hidden jewel. I have been multiple times over the years and it was always outstanding. They recently changed ownership though and I’m happy to say nothing has changed and if possible, it was even better. Keep on being awesome!

Excellent food, atmosphere and service. The pulled pork and brisket were moist, tender and smoky with the sauce on the side. Sides were really good with a giant portion of cornbread. The atmosphere was really fun as the pictures show. Service was really friendly and quick.

Rest in Peace American Barbecue. Well folks it’s over, this once amazing restaurant has changed hands. Apparently the original recipes were not included in the deal. The food now is awful. Truffle fries are now bagged frozen fries with globs of weird white stuff that is certainly not truffle sauce. The New England style baked beans are from a can and boy what ever you do do not get the crispy chicken sandwich with old chicken, old avocado, yellow lettuce and a stop and shop bun. Yikes!!! not to mention the drinks. The previous owners had a flawless menu and they will be missed.

Stylish atmosphere with a welcoming Southern twist, an awesome update to the interior. It has a full bar with unique specials and inexpensive go-tos for all occasions. The food is delicious and comes with lots of great side options at a good price. They also had great social distancing practices. Highly recommended!

Service, drinks, food, music. This place succeeds in so many ways that it's easy for other restaurants to cut corners or settle for "good enough". But everything I ordered slapped. I was stuffed from the fried pickles and beet salad (which was incredible, at a BBQ joint??), but I still ordered desert just to see what they would do. The bourbon pecan pie does things to a person. Great things. I couldn't not leave a five star review after a dining experience like that.
